This tour takes you through the scenic destinations of Siliguri, Phuntsholing, Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural experiences. The journey includes breathtaking highlights such as the stunning Dochula Pass, Chelela Pass (the highest motorable road in Bhutan), and Chapcha Pass, along with views of majestic peaks like Mt. Gangkar Phunsum and Mt. Jhomolhari. You will also enjoy panoramic bird’s-eye views of Paro, visit the famous airport viewpoint, and relax by serene riversides, making the trip both refreshing and memorable.

Itinerary

Meet and greet with our local representative at the Railway Station/Airport. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and driven to Phuntsholing, Bhutan (approx. 3–4 hours), with breakfast and lunch en route. On reaching, check into the hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax.

Overnight stay in Phuntsholing at Hotel Gadhen (3★ Deluxe) or Druk Hotel / Lhaki Hotel (4★).

After breakfast, the day’s journey begins as guests proceed towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Lunch can be enjoyed en route, with recommendations from the guide and tour leader.

On the way, visit:

  • Milarepa Lhakhang
  • Chukha Dam (one of the oldest hydroelectric projects)
  • Bypass Waterfall
  • Dobji Dzong viewpoint
  • Chuzom (the confluence of the Thimphu and Paro rivers)

Upon arrival in Thimphu, check into the hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a leisure walk around Thimphu city.

Overnight stay in Thimphu at Taktshang Hotel (3★ Deluxe) or Seven Suites / Valley Hotel (4★).

After breakfast, drive for approximately 2 hours towards Punakha Dzongkhag.

  • Stop at Dochula Pass (3,150 m) to enjoy breathtaking views of the higher Himalayas.
  • Visit Chimi Lhakhang, popularly known as the “Temple of Fertility.”
  • Explore Punakha Dzong (Fortress), built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, also called the “Palace of Great Happiness.”

Later, drive back to Thimphu.

Overnight stay in Thimphu at Taktshang Hotel (3★ Deluxe) or Seven Suites / Valley Hotel (4★).

 

After breakfast, begin the day’s sightseeing in Thimphu:

  • Visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue at Kuensel Phodrang, offering a serene atmosphere and panoramic views.
  • Explore the National Memorial Chorten (Monument).
  • Enjoy Simply Bhutan or a cultural program (optional).
  • Visit the Takin Preserve Centre, home to Bhutan’s national animal.
  • Stop at Sangaygang Viewpoint.
  • Visit the Nunnery (a temple and school for female monks).
  • View Thimphu Dzong (Fortress).
  • Visit the Supreme Court Viewpoint.
  • Get a glimpse of His Majesty’s Palace View.
  • Explore the National Library, housing one of the world’s largest books.
  • Enjoy a walk and shopping at the Handicraft Market.

Later, drive towards Paro (approx. 45 minutes to 1 hour):

  • En route, pass via Chuzom (confluence of the Thimphu and Paro rivers) with sightseeing stops.
  • Visit a riverside viewpoint to relax and enjoy the fresh river water.
  • Stop at the airport viewpoint for a bird’s-eye view of Paro Airport.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Paro at Kuenphen Valley (3★) or Thirm-Dorji Resort / Dema Resort (4★).

After an early breakfast, begin the day’s sightseeing:

  • Visit Tachog Lhakhang, known for its ancient handmade iron bridge.
  • Explore the National Museum (Ta Dzong).
  • Visit Drugyel Dzong, one of the oldest fortresses in Bhutan.
  • Stop at the Tiger’s Nest viewpoint.
  • Visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest monasteries.
  • Explore Paro Dzong.
  • Enjoy an authentic Bhutanese lunch.
  • Visit a handicraft shop to try traditional Bhutanese attire – Gho for men and Kira for women.
  • Later, enjoy a tea/coffee break or spend leisure time exploring Paro town for shopping.

OR

Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) hike (approx. 4–5 hours round trip).

After the hike, return to the hotel to freshen up, followed by a visit to a handicraft shop to try Bhutanese traditional dress (Gho/Kira).

Later, drive to Chelela Pass (the highest motorable road in Bhutan) offering stunning views of Haa Valley and Mt. Jhomolhari (second highest peak in Bhutan) – (₹1500 extra per person).

Afterwards, enjoy a tea/coffee break and optionally experience a traditional hot stone bath, or spend leisure time in Paro town.

Overnight stay in Paro at Kuenphen Valley (3★) or Thirm-Dorji Resort / Dema Resort (4★).

After an early breakfast, proceed towards Tiger’s Nest or Chelela Pass, followed by a drive to Phuntsholing.

  • Drive to Chelela Pass (the highest motorable road in Bhutan), offering stunning views of Haa Valley and Mt. Jhomolhari (second highest peak in Bhutan) – (₹1000 extra per person).
  • If time permits, visit Milarepa Lhakhang and Kharbandi Gompa.
  • You may also pass through Chapcha Viewpoint, the highest point on the Thimphu–Phuntsholing highway (subject to time availability, ₹1000 extra per person).

This day marks the conclusion of your Bhutan journey, leaving you with beautiful memories of Bhutanese culture and landscapes.

Overnight stay in Phuntsholing at Hotel Gadhen (3★ Deluxe) or Druk Hotel / Lhaki Hotel (4★).

After breakfast, proceed towards Siliguri / Bagdogra Airport (West Bengal, India) for your departure. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at the airport with a final see-off.

  • Xtreme Moto Adventure will assist you with your visa application; however, the final decision on approval rests solely with the respective Embassy or Consulate.
  • Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six (6) months from your intended return date.
  • All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions shared with you at the time of confirming your package.
  • Any modifications to the confirmed itinerary are subject to availability, and rates may vary depending on the revised travel dates.
  • Once issued and shared, travel vouchers cannot be cancelled or refunded.
  • The itinerary confirmed via email by your travel consultant will be considered the official and final version of your travel plan.
  • In case the rooms or preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate hotel or schedule based on the customer’s preference will be arranged (surcharges may apply).
  • In rare cases, certain trips or activities may be cancelled due to factors beyond our control such as adverse weather conditions, union matters, government regulations, or other unexpected events. In such cases, we will make every effort to provide suitable alternative arrangements.
  • Failure to pay the full amount by the specified due date may result in cancellation of your booking or services at our sole discretion.
  • The services included in your package will be detailed in your booking confirmation. Any services not explicitly mentioned will be considered excluded and must be paid for separately.
  • Prices are based on the quoted hotels, transport, and sightseeing options. Any change in category or services will affect the final cost.
  • Amendment Policy
  • Amendments to travel dates, hotels, or itinerary are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
  • Travel Documents & Visa
  • Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
  • Obtaining visas is the responsibility of the passenger unless stated otherwise.
  • The company will not be responsible for visa rejection or delays by the embassy or consulate.
  • Special Requests
  • Special requests such as meal preferences, adjoining rooms, early check-ins, or specific seat allocations are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy:

Non-Operational Sightseeing or Activities

In the event that a paid activity becomes inoperative due to COVID-19 restrictions or any other unforeseen circumstances, a refund will be initiated. In such cases, we will also try our best to provide suitable alternative arrangements.

Please note that cash refunds are not applicable in these situations.

For complimentary activities (activities not charged to the guest), no refund will be applicable.

Cancellations Due to Force Majeure Events

In the event of trip cancellation due to natural calamities, adverse weather conditions, or other force majeure circumstances, Xtreme Moto Adventure will make every effort to obtain the highest possible refund.

However, the refund will be subject to the cancellation policies of our service providers, trade partners, and vendors involved in the booking.

Government-Imposed Travel Restrictions

In case of an official travel ban for Indian nationals to the booked destination, guests will be offered either an alternative itinerary or, where possible, the option to reschedule the trip to a later date.

Please note that seasonal surcharges may apply in such cases.

Payment Policy:

A minimum of 30% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking to secure services.

Full payment must be made 30 days before the departure date.

Booking made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

Flights full payment needs to be paid at the time of booking.
