Overview

Your journey begins in Leh, the main town of Ladakh. Spend the first day acclimatizing to the high altitude and exploring nearby attractions like Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, which offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

After that, travel across the famous Khardung La Pass, known as one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Continue your adventure to Nubra Valley, where you can visit the sand dunes of Hunder and experience a ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels.

Later, head towards the breathtaking Pangong Lake, famous for its crystal-clear water and changing colors. In the evening, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and admire the star-filled sky by the lake.

Itinerary

Arrival: Reach Leh Airport, where our representative will greet you and assist with the transfer to your hotel.

Check-in: Complete the hotel check-in and spend time resting to adjust to the high altitude (11,500 ft).

Leisure Time: Keep the day relaxed—avoid heavy activity. You may take short walks around the hotel area or simply relax.

Overnight Stay: Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in Leh. 

Local Exploration: After breakfast, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour around Leh.

Morning: After breakfast, begin your ride towards Nubra Valley, crossing the famous Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world.

Khardung La Pass (17,582 ft): Take a short stop at the top to admire the stunning views of the snow-covered mountains and capture some memorable photographs.

Continue the Journey: Ride further along the winding mountain roads, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and beautiful valleys.

Diskit Monastery: On the way, visit Diskit Monastery, famous for its historic architecture and the large statue of Maitreya Buddha overlooking Nubra Valley.

Hunder Village: Arrive at Hunder, known for its white sand dunes and the unique double-humped Bactrian camels. Spend a relaxing evening enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the valley. 

Morning: After breakfast, start your journey towards Pangong Lake via the beautiful Shayok route.

Shayok River Route: Ride alongside the scenic Shayok River, surrounded by rugged mountains and small remote villages, offering spectacular views along the way.

Enroute Stops: Take short breaks at scenic points for photography and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Arrival at Pangong: Reach Pangong Lake by afternoon. The lake is well known for its crystal-clear water and changing shades of blue, creating a breathtaking landscape.

Leisure Time: Spend the evening relaxing by the lake and enjoying the calm and natural beauty of the area.

Overnight Stay: Stay overnight at a camp near Pangong Lake

Morning at Pangong: Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise over Pangong Lake and enjoy a relaxed breakfast with stunning lake views.

Scenic Ride: After breakfast, start your return journey to Leh via the famous Chang La Pass (17,590 ft), known as the fourth highest motorable road in the world.

Ride Duration: The drive takes approximately 6–7 hours. On the way, stop at the Changla Baba Temple and pass through Sakti Village, offering scenic views of the Zanskar Range.

Arrival in Leh: Reach Leh by evening and check in to your hotel.

Evening: You may relax at the hotel or take a stroll around the Leh Market.

Overnight Stay: Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Leh

Transfer: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight. ✈️
