Leh, the capital of the ancient Buddhist kingdom of Ladakh—once called “Little Tibet”—is a city rich in history and culture. The skyline is dominated by the majestic Leh Palace, the former residence of the royal family, and above it stands the historic Victory Fort. Both landmarks can be visited, and the palace features an intriguing museum showcasing historical artifacts and local art.

Below lies the old town, filled with narrow lanes and a lively bazaar bustling with activity. Although Ladakh opened to tourists only in the 1970s, it has now become the main tourism hub of the region, offering numerous hotels, restaurants, and facilities for travelers.

Itinerary

Upon your early morning arrival at Leh Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative and escorted to your hotel in Leh. After completing the check-in process, spend the rest of the day relaxing and allowing your body to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh.

Take some time to admire the beautiful mountain surroundings and stroll through the nearby gardens while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Later, enjoy dinner followed by an overnight stay at your chosen accommodation in Leh.

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Sham Valley, visiting Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam Point, Rafting Point, and Spituk Monastery.

The Hall of Fame is an important place to visit for every patriotic Indian. It was built by the Indian Army in honor of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Kargil War.

Next, visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, located about 40 km from Leh. This sacred Gurudwara was built in 1571 to mark the visit of Guru Nanak Dev Ji to this region.

Continue to Magnetic Hill, a fascinating location where vehicles appear to move uphill on their own even when the engine is turned off, which seems almost unbelievable.

Later, visit Sangam Point at Nimu, where the Indus River and Zanskar River meet. The confluence of these two rivers creates a beautiful and unique view. It is also a popular rafting point.

In the evening, return to Leh. If time permits, visit the Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the local market.

Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Leh.

After breakfast, depart from Leh and drive towards Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, situated at an altitude of 18,390 feet above sea level. The drive to Khardung La offers breathtaking landscapes and stunning mountain views, making the journey a truly memorable and once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, check in to your accommodation. In the evening, visit the sand dunes where you can enjoy an exciting camel safari on the famous double-humped Bactrian camels.

After breakfast, drive towards Thang Village, the last village of India near the India–Pakistan border, which was captured by the Indian Army during the 1971 war. On the way, visit the beautiful villages of Turtuk and Tyakshi, known for their unique culture and scenic surroundings.

After exploring the area, return to Nubra Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.

Here is a reworded version with some words changed and smoother wording:

After breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of 14,500 feet, on a scenic drive of approximately 6–7 hours. Upon arrival at the camp, spend some time at leisure while enjoying the stunning surroundings.

Witness the beautiful lake that changes colors with the shifting sunlight, and enjoy a spectacular sunset along its shores.
