Overview

Gangtok, Pelling, Darjeeling, and Kalimpong are some of the most beautiful hill destinations in East India, each offering a unique blend of nature, culture, and scenic charm. Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is known for its clean surroundings, vibrant monasteries, and stunning views of the Eastern Himalayas. Attractions like Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass, MG Marg, and Rumtek Monastery make it a popular tourist hub. Pelling, on the other hand, is quieter and famous for its close-up views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, along with attractions like Sky Walk, Pemayangtse Monastery, and Rabdentse Ruins.

Darjeeling, often called the “Queen of Hills,” is known for its tea gardens, toy train, and breathtaking sunrise views from Tiger Hill. It offers a lively atmosphere with a mix of colonial charm and natural beauty. Kalimpong, located nearby, is a peaceful destination known for its flower nurseries, monasteries, and scenic viewpoints like Deolo Hill. Together, these destinations create a perfect Himalayan circuit, offering a balance of adventure, relaxation, cultural experiences, and mesmerizing landscapes.

Itinerary

Pick-up will be arranged upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, followed by a drive to Gangtok (approximately 125 km, around 4 hours). Upon reaching Gangtok, check in at the hotel and relax. Enjoy an overnight stay in Gangtok.

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (approximately 1.5 hours, subject to permit). Enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake at an altitude of 15,100 ft and experience optional yak rides at your own cost. Later, visit the New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (15,200 ft), known for its peaceful atmosphere. After the visit, return to Gangtok (around 1.5 hours). Overnight stay in Gangtok.

In the morning, after breakfast, depart for Pelling (approximately 125 km, around 5 hours). En route, visit Namchi and explore Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham), offering stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas. Continue to Ravangla to visit Buddha Park, known for its peaceful and serene surroundings. Upon arrival in Pelling, check in at the hotel and relax. Enjoy an overnight stay in Pelling.

In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit the Skywalk and Chenrezig Statue to enjoy breathtaking views from the glass bridge, followed by a visit to the peaceful Pemayangtse Monastery. Continue to the Rabdentse Ruins, a historic site offering scenic surroundings, and explore the Pelling Bird Sanctuary for a refreshing nature walk and birdwatching. In the afternoon, transfer to Darjeeling (approximately 75 km, 3–4 hours), famously known as the Queen of Hills. Upon arrival in the evening, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Early in the morning, visit Tiger Hill (subject to permit/token availability) to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the way back, explore Ghoom Monastery and enjoy the scenic beauty of Batasia Loop along with the War Memorial. Return to the hotel to relax and have breakfast. After breakfast, proceed to visit the Japanese Temple known for its calm and peaceful ambiance, followed by the Peace Pagoda offering stunning panoramic views. Continue with visits to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (both closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays). Also enjoy an outer view of the tea gardens. In the evening, relax or explore the nearby local area. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Kalimpong (approximately 55 km, around 2.5 hours), also known as the land of orchids. Upon arrival, check in at a comfortable hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour covering Graham’s Home, a historic missionary school, followed by Mangal Dham known for its spiritual atmosphere. Visit Deolo Hill to enjoy beautiful sunset views and a panoramic view of the town, along with the Golf Course set amidst scenic hills. Continue to Durpin Dara Hills for monastery visits and stunning views, and explore Pine View Nursery (subject to timings), famous for its rare plants. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.

  • Once issued and shared, travel vouchers cannot be cancelled or refunded.

In the event that a paid activity becomes inoperative due to COVID-19 restrictions or any other unforeseen circumstances, a refund will be initiated. In such cases, we will also try our best to provide suitable alternative arrangements.

Please note that cash refunds are not applicable in these situations.

For complimentary activities (activities not charged to the guest), no refund will be applicable.

Cancellations Due to Force Majeure Events

In the event of trip cancellation due to natural calamities, adverse weather conditions, or other force majeure circumstances, Xtreme Moto Adventurewill make every effort to obtain the highest possible refund.

However, the refund will be subject to the cancellation policies of our service providers, trade partners, and vendorsinvolved in the booking.

Government-Imposed Travel Restrictions

In case of an official travel ban for Indian nationals to the booked destination, guests will be offered either an alternative itinerary or, where possible, the option to reschedule the trip to a later date.

Please note that seasonal surcharges may apply in such cases.
