Overview

Darjeeling and Mirik are two beautiful hill destinations in West Bengal, known for their scenic landscapes and pleasant climate. Darjeeling, often called the “Queen of the Hills,” offers stunning views of the snow-capped Kangchenjunga mountains. Popular attractions include Tiger Hill for sunrise views, Batasia Loop, the Japanese Peace Pagoda, and the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (toy train). The lush green tea gardens and cool weather make it a perfect destination for tourists seeking both adventure and relaxation.

Mirik, located a short distance from Darjeeling, is a शांत and less crowded destination known for its serene atmosphere. The main attraction is Sumendu Lake, surrounded by pine forests and connected by a charming footbridge. Visitors can enjoy boating, horse riding, and peaceful walks around the lake. Mirik is ideal for those looking for calm and relaxation, while Darjeeling offers a more vibrant and tourist-friendly experience.

Itinerary

Pick-up will be arranged upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, followed by a road transfer to Darjeeling (approximately 75 km, around 3 hours). Upon reaching Darjeeling, check in at the hotel and relax. Enjoy an overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Early morning, visit Tiger Hill (subject to permit/token availability) to witness the beautiful sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the way back, explore Ghoom Monastery and enjoy the scenic views at Batasia Loop along with the War Memorial. Return to the hotel for relaxation and breakfast. After breakfast, proceed to visit the Japanese Temple known for its peaceful ambiance, followed by the Peace Pagoda offering panoramic views. Continue sightseeing with a visit to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (both closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays). Also enjoy an outer view of the tea gardens. In the evening, relax or explore the local area. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Visit Lepchajagat, known for its scenic pine forests and breathtaking panoramic views. Continue to Pashupati Market at the Nepal border to explore local products and enjoy some snacks. Then head to Simana View Point to witness beautiful views of Nepal, India, and Bhutan. Proceed to Mirik, where you can visit the lake, enjoy boating, and explore the local market. In the evening, return to Darjeeling for an overnight stay.

In the morning, check out from the hotel and depart from Darjeeling. You will be dropped at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Thank you for traveling with us—we hope your Himalayan experience remains a cherished memory forever.

Any expenses caused due to natural events such as landslides, roadblocks, or political disturbances (strikes), which must be borne directly by the client on the spot.

Any increase in taxes or fuel prices that may lead to a rise in transportation and land arrangement costs prior to departure.

General Policy:
  • We want your travel experience to be smooth and enjoyable. Please go through these important points before your travel.
  • These Terms & Conditions apply to all services and products offered by Xtreme Moto Adventure, including group tours, customized holidays, corporate travel, and any other domestic, international, or inbound travel arrangements.
  • Xtreme Moto Adventure will assist you with your visa application; however, the final decision on approval rests solely with the respective Embassy or Consulate.
  • Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six (6) months from your intended return date.
  • All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions shared with you at the time of confirming your package.
  • Any modifications to the confirmed itinerary are subject to availability, and rates may vary depending on the revised travel dates.
  • Once issued and shared, travel vouchers cannot be cancelled or refunded.
  • The itinerary confirmed via email by your travel consultant will be considered the official and final version of your travel plan.
  • In case the rooms or preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate hotel or schedule based on the customer’s preference will be arranged (surcharges may apply).
  • In rare cases, certain trips or activities may be cancelled due to factors beyond our control such as adverse weather conditions, union matters, government regulations, or other unexpected events. In such cases, we will make every effort to provide suitable alternative arrangements.
  • Failure to pay the full amount by the specified due date may result in cancellation of your booking or services at our sole discretion.
  • The services included in your package will be detailed in your booking confirmation. Any services not explicitly mentioned will be considered excluded and must be paid for separately.
  • Prices are based on the quoted hotels, transport, and sightseeing options. Any change in category or services will affect the final cost.
  • Amendment Policy
  • Amendments to travel dates, hotels, or itinerary are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
  • Travel Documents & Visa
  • Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
  • Obtaining visas is the responsibility of the passenger unless stated otherwise.
  • The company will not be responsible for visa rejection or delays by the embassy or consulate.
  • Special Requests
  • Special requests such as meal preferences, adjoining rooms, early check-ins, or specific seat allocations are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.


 

Cancellation Policy:

Non-Operational Sightseeing or Activities

In the event that a paid activity becomes inoperative due to COVID-19 restrictions or any other unforeseen circumstances, a refund will be initiated. In such cases, we will also try our best to provide suitable alternative arrangements.

Please note that cash refunds are not applicable in these situations.

For complimentary activities (activities not charged to the guest), no refund will be applicable.

Cancellations Due to Force Majeure Events

In the event of trip cancellation due to natural calamities, adverse weather conditions, or other force majeure circumstances, Xtreme Moto Adventure will make every effort to obtain the highest possible refund.

However, the refund will be subject to the cancellation policies of our service providers, trade partners, and vendors involved in the booking.

Government-Imposed Travel Restrictions

In case of an official travel ban for Indian nationals to the booked destination, guests will be offered either an alternative itinerary or, where possible, the option to reschedule the trip to a later date.

Please note that seasonal surcharges may apply in such cases.

Payment Policy:

A minimum of 30% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking to secure services.

Full payment must be made 30 days before the departure date.

Booking made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

Flights full payment needs to be paid at the time of booking.
